Fire Gear is the heart of fire features, the flame. Illinois Landscape Supply offers a series of drop-in kits to keep your fire options customizable and unique. These kits include the flex line, a key valve, a shut off valve, and the orifice of choice.
Burning Spur Kit:
Our Burning Spur is the most popular ignition system as it has the least amount of cost, can be used in residential installs, and is the easiest to use! With the turn of a key and the light of a match, this 6-armed orifice will ignite a well-spread flame in a beautiful fashion.
Drop-in Kits:
Drop-in fire gear includes raised ignition lines with a flat metal piece grounding it and easy-to-use ignition technology. All versions can be used in residential installs and create a definite shape and size to your fire feature. There are 3 different drop-in designs available, including: “Line Of Fire H-Drop In-MT”, “Line of Fire-T Drop In-MT”, and “Square Drop-In MT”.
Line Of Fire H-Drop In-MT:
This design has two long parallel ignition lines with a short vertical bar connecting them. It has a rectangular shape and ranges from 36” to 72” in length. This piece showcases two lines of flame with the same easy to use system.
Line of Fire-T Drop In-MT:
This design has a one ignition line with a long, thin rectangular back piece. Consisting of the same easy to use system, this singular line of flame can range from 36” to 48” in length.
Square Drop-In MT:
This drop-in feature has 6 ignition lines arranged in a snowflake pattern which is perfect for the center piece of a fire feature. These lines are supported by a 26” x 26” square plate including that easy-to-use system in the kit.
Fire Gear Media:
Fire gear media embellishes the whole look of your fire feature! Illinois landscape Supply has 9 different types of media to choose from, each adding their own flare. Whether glass or lava rock/stone, fire gear media is sure to level-up your outdoor space. Adding media to your fire gear gives your fire application a finished look and will have your space ready for any occasion.
Glass:
Glass media adds sparkle and shine to your space’s fire feature. The pieces of glass included have a mirror finish on top of your color of choice leaving a glistening touch. Your options for glass media include Large Reflective Glass and Broken Glass.
Large Reflective Glass:
These larger chunks (approximately ¾”) come in the following colors: black, copper, cobalt, and bronze.
Broken Glass:
These smaller pieces (approximately ½”) come in the following colors: black, sea breeze, and copper.
Lava Rock/Stone:
Lava rocks and stones bring a matte and natural look to your fire feature. Their dark features keep a clean and simple aesthetic for both lava rock and stone while contrasting with the bright flame.
Lava Rock:
The rigid rock pieces are mined directly from the earth and contrast outstandingly against the bright flame. Rocks range from 1” to 2” in diameter and are available in a 10 pound bag or 1 cubic foot bag (approximately 30-40 pounds).
Lava Stone:
Lava stone brings the round and smooth appeal to fire media as it is tumbled into rounded pieces of lava rock. These casually elegant stones range between 1” to 2” in diameter and can be purchased by 50 pound bag.

The “Zentro 30” Smokeless Firepit Ring Insert comes in stainless steel and black steel to fit any type of stone, block or concrete firepit.
